Poverty
Poverty is defined as scarcity, as the state of being extremely poor and lacking any material possessions or money. It is the crucial, underlying issue of humanity's largest problems, and is clear evidence of the unjust inequality and large disparities of wealth within the world, which must be eradicated. It is economically and socially impossible to completely remove poverty, but poverty to the extent which exists in the world is unacceptable. Being in poverty forces one into an adverse vicious cycle which is almost impossible to break out of, and the longer we ignore this problem, the worse it will become.
